what the hell was going on between ahmad bradshaw and everyone else? :lol why was he so mad?

When he smacked Cruz :rollin. Dude was going off on EVERYBODY. The commentators kept saying he was "fired up" , but he looked more "pissed" than anything.

and secondly, does any player in NFL history get more pumped about 3 yard runs up the middle than Tim Tebow?

I was thinking the same thing watching highlight last night. Tebow rushed for a whopping 12 yards on 4 carries. Sit the f*** down & learn to throw a ball you troll...I honestly think if he were black (yes I said it), the media would go ham on him & crucify him for not being a good QB...For all his work ethic, he still can't throw with accuracy...

agree. i also think that if he were black, he'd be headed out of the league very very soon. but because he's white he'll stick around as a backup or get all the opportunities to start. see vince young.

Part of why I like Cam is for the fact that he is arrogant. But I cringe when he does it this year, especially yesterday when as said he threw for a TD and then went and celebrated on his own afterwards. You know you're already under scrutiny, that's not helping matters.

Vince young is a cardinal though ? 8o

He has mental issues and thinks a melon ball is fine liqueur.

i love it...everybody off the wagon of Cam all of a sudden. keep it that way.

OC should be fired, its disgusting at this point. yea Cam has made silly mistake, but what do you expect hes in his 2nd year of QBing in the NFL. i realize i cant take 85% of what is said in this thread serious bc lot of guys only watch The Redzone and highlights from around the NFL. they dont actually sit down and watch the game.

1-5 hurts but ill take it, its cool. ill live through the growing pains of a young QB. i miss the days Carolina Panthers ran the football about 25-35 times a game.

the D is actally OK this year, now its the O thats left behind.

Exactly. Cam is not helping his own cause.

And now we're at the point where people are questioning WHY a team captain would get in his ear? Is Cam that immune to criticism that no one can say **** to him about how he carries himself? Like I was saying before, I don't care what Steve Smith's history was. He's been rejuvenated since Cam came on the scene. If there is one person who would understand the perception of body language and gesticulation at the wrong time, it's Steve Smith. That man IS the Carolina Panthers. If there was one person on the offensive side of the ball whose words probably do carry a lot of weight, it's Smitty. He's earned the "C" on his jersey for a reason. Get the **** outta here with questioning whether or not he can say anything to him.

*Another thing...this whole "watching highlights" argument is getting lame. No one in this thread has enough time on their hands to dissect EVERY NFL game. Last I checked, Peter King is not a NTer. Guys go HAM for the games they do watch, and if they have to rely on a highlight for what they say in another point, so be it. Sometimes people say things for reactions...sometimes people say things to troll. But if you're going to get your panties in a bunch because someone disagrees with you - or quickly throw out "so and so is only watching Red Zone, etc," it's a cop out and shows you're catching feelings for all the wrong reasons. Got dudes in here fronting like they don't rely on highlights of other games to make points in this WiR thread. :lol

Fixed.

+1

It's Pryor gonna ever get a chance to start down in OAK? Or are they drafting a QB next year ?

Pryor isn't a starting NFL QB... so unless we lose a bunch in a row and CP3 gets hurt, he's not playing.

I wouldn't mind the Raiders taking a qb in the first... hopefully Wilson falls to mid first or something, I think the Raiders could swoop him.

Denarius Moore with TDs in back to back weeks :hat
BTW Rod Streater is nice. I'm liking what Reggie has done talent wise (given what he had to work with)
Wheeler and Burris have improved the Raiders LB core significantly.

1 game out of 1st place.

DoubleJJs...hit it on the head about the whole highlight watching thing.

but at the same time, you can CLEARLY see who just reads a box score week in and week out :lol

As a Black man in America, I fully support this statement. It's natural to a degree to be defiant. So no, I don't have a problem with Cam Newton celebrating every little thing. In fact, no one would if the Panthers were 5-1, instead of 1-5. With that said, of course Cam has made his fair share of mistakes on the field. No excusing that. But the larger issue at hand for Carolina is the fact they've designed their entire offense to rely on Cam Newton solely. They basically did what the Shanahans have done in Washington, minus common sense. You have 3 quality RB's....why not use them for once? I'm pretty sure that's what Cam was referring to in his presser....this playcalling has got to change. Ya'll up on ATLANTA with the game all but finished, but you want to run a wildcat formation? I almost chucked my remote through the tv and I'm not a Panthers fan.

Didn't really catch anything other than the packer game.

- Jordy Nelson is one of the best deep threats in the league. He will soon, check that, should already have taken Jennings spot in the WR discussions.
- Fraj I agree that each week I feel it's becoming less likely we will sign Jennings. Especially with JJ finally consistently playing like he's capable of. Even though he was out of bounds, that last catch he made in the end zone :x This dude is showing he is out there to make plays.
- Cobb becoming our own Percy :smokin watch out Viking fans.

Jennings never had a spot in those discussions.

Gotta love the tebow mention as if he didn't have some success despite his deficiencies... And he has a place in this league outside of the QB position if that never pans out because he's physical and can play the game

Cam isn't helping his cause celebrating first downs when he converted 3 first downs on 3rd down, dude Def has some immaturity issues

Teammates are not going to have confidence in you of you have a towel over your head when things don't go your way.

Yes he did. You think Rodgers does what he does because he has mediocre WR's?

Chill....Jennings was somewhere in that 11-13 range. As a unit, the Packer WR's are one of the best. Flynn put up A-Rod numbers in that system too. So maybe there's more too it than a deep, but above average receiving core.

Speaking of WR's...it's hard not to put Victor Cruz in the top-5 discussion. Dude is one of the best in the league.

If that's where you thought he always was or still is so be it. You could say Jennings has always been in a deep WR core which takes away from his opportunities too. I can see why people would think he's out of the top 10 and I can see why he would be considered top 10. Either way I really really don't wanna go there.

Point is Jordys coming.

I think him and Nicks are both top 10.

are they top 10 because they're that good, or because Eli makes them that good? serious question. i don't get to watch a lot of giants games but their production is hard to argue against.

Nicks makes the tough catches and in all honesty I think is underrated cause of Cruz.

Cruz gets coverage shifted to his side and can stretch the field and still makes the catches.

It isn't hard to argue they are both top 10 WRs.

The Giants GM is a smart man.

They're both that good IMO. The only thing that might hold one back is the injuries to Nicks.
