I'm probably going to end up on a list for even asking the question. Either these terrorist watch lists are some coverup, after the crime bs or alot of people are on these lists, without even knowing it.

This is a good question, I think they monitor internet activity. For example, the guy who shot up the army base should have been on a watchlistfor going to websites that attracts potential jihadists and Al Qaeda
