I'm a true 14. I don't mind extra toe room. Will I be okay going TTS on the '79 tailwinds, or is a 13 really necessary?

Edit: FWIW, I don't have much experience with these older models...but a size 14 Cortez is too small for me.

For me;
Waffle racer 9
Cortez 9.5
Tailwind 8.5 (I can fit an 8, but it’s tight)

I think you’d be fine with the 14, especially if you don’t mind the extra length.
