I don’t remember the first version of the Air Bound(1990?), but I did have the 1991 versions my senior year of high school. The all black ones specifically, wore those to the ground.

Those need a proper retro.

The ‘93 versions were sick too.

When did they go from using that big F logo for flight to the more cursive sort of looking word flight spelled out ?

Cursive Flight was the OG and first appeared in 89. They switched to the F logo in 91 with those Air Bounds and Solo Flights.

I had the black/white version of those Air Bound 2s as one of my HS game shoes. Good times.

Also, my recollection of the introduction of the big F Flight logo is that it came on the original Flight Lite high and the Super Dave commercials. I am 99 percent certain that’s the shoe that launched it. I had the launch colorway, black/purple, and got a matching shirt with the F logo on the front. That’s why I remember it being all new at the time so clearly.

I actually did buy my pair from Oneness, but it was on release day. I'm not buying multiples, even though I probably should get a second pair. I'm just waiting for the white/black/gray pair rather than doubling on this colorway.

Interesting bundle, tho. Seems like a somewhat cheaper shoe but with amazing packaging. Agreed that the black/white gets the juices going... Undecided if i'll pursue this route if that colorway releases non-billie with the upgraded materials.
