I'm not sure if there's an existing thread for the Nike Air Alpha Force, a late '80s classic. If one does exist, please point it out.

I vaguely recall seeing some NBA players wearing these in the late '80s/early '90s.

These will be returning in its 1988 form.

I admit I never knew the name of these back then despite remembering the design forever. I focused more on the signature shoes like Jordans and other higher price shoes instead of Nike shoes like these broadly worn by NBA players of that time who didn't have a signature like Michael.

I would love to see the Air Force III make a return as well. If Nike can at least get the Air Trainer SC III back to how they were when they first retroed (1997-1998 ), I would consider buying. This model still remains butchered and it’s sad.

This is quite interesting to me because I've always associated the signature shoes with Jordan ever since I began watching basketball. It's actually shocking to me that I learned in retrospect so many years later that he wore Nike shoes that weren't a signature of his during his NBA career. I truly always assumed he wore signature shoes during the entirety of his NBA career ever since the day he signed with Nike in 1984.

I would never associate these with Jordan despite him wearing them a few times. But I'm in the same boat with you in associating them with other various NBA players wearing them because they didn't have a signature line when they were signed to Nike. What also made me recall them was that the players who wore them had colorways that matched their team color.

IDK.. its not bad but they look like they'll be cardboard and lumpy. This is a sleek shoe that deserves Air Ship materials for it to make sense.
