S 240.35 Loitering.
A person is guilty of loitering when he:
2. Loiters or remains in a public place for the purpose of gambling
with cards, dice or other gambling paraphernalia; or
4. Being masked or in any manner disguised by unusual or unnatural
attire or facial alteration, loiters, remains or congregates in a public
place with other persons so masked or disguised, or knowingly permits or
aids persons so masked or disguised to congregate in a public place;
except that such conduct is not unlawful when it occurs in connection
with a masquerade party or like entertainment if, when such
entertainment is held in a city which has promulgated regulations in
connection with such affairs, permission is first obtained from the
police or other appropriate authorities; or
5. Loiters or remains in or about school grounds, a college or
university building or grounds or a children's overnight camp as defined
in section one thousand three hundred ninety-two of the public health
law or a summer day camp as defined in section one thousand three
hundred ninety-two of the public health law, or loiters, remains in or
enters a school bus as defined in section one hundred forty-two of the
vehicle and traffic law, not having any reason or relationship involving
custody of or responsibility for a pupil or student, or any other
specific, legitimate reason for being there, and not having written
permission from anyone authorized to grant the same or loiters or
remains in or about such children's overnight camp or summer day camp in
violation of conspicuously posted rules or regulations governing entry
and use thereof; or
6. Loiters or remains in any transportation facility, unless
specifically authorized to do so, for the purpose of soliciting or
engaging in any business, trade or commercial transactions involving the
sale of merchandise or services, or for the purpose of entertaining
persons by singing, dancing or playing any musical instrument; or
Loitering is a violation.

There are many diff loitering codes. In NYC you also have to look up mpc. Municipal police codes. Also check laws which matter for retail stores including liquor stores and clothing stores. Believe at worst they could consider standing outside a store and refusing to leave as an unlawful assembly give a dispersal order and then when you refuse to leave they can arrest and cite you.

I really wish I knew all the mom & pop sneaker stores in NYC..i've been puttin in serious work in the Bronx..and my luck is runnin out..i don't know much about Brooklyn and Queens sneaker stores so I feel like findin a sneaker store that WILL have the Galaxies is like findin a needle in a haystack..:-(

i did strictly off of principle.
i'll be honest, i'm a firm believer in calling corporate when employees pull funny stuff on the release dates or leading up to the release date if it effects you personally. it was some shady messed up stuff that went down around my area for past releases due to sneaker politics and alot of people who camped for concords got screwed in favor of "vip's" hell even the situation where homie lined up at footlocker to cop the red foams and was on line to purchase them employee to hear the employee say that the only way he could buy the shoes was at the employees resale price, that situation dude had every right to complain.
this situation is just petty saltiness and the dudes defending it talking about "company policy" are chumps. if that dude broke compant policy to help them get a pair for retail or was hooking them up with discounts, they would care less about him breaking "company policy"
the intent of this snitching is what's sickening and the majority of these dudes snitching on a situation that doesn't affect them wouldn't sell the shoes for retail if they had access to them. these dudes could care less about a sneaker "community" their just trying to knock another man out of spite and jealousy.
