True indeed but with all things considered, it's still a pretty decent shoe...just not for $135.

Because I always treat all my leather shoes with ECCO Leather Conditioner.
I take them out of the box, clean them with a barely damp towel and allow to dry for about 1 hour.
Then with micro fiber cloth I apply the leather conditioner and allow it to dry for about 2 hours.
Shoes are buffed with another micro fiber cloth.
Wait 48 hours and repeat the process.
The photos from my black are after only 1 treatment.
They got the 2nd and the leather is as soft as butter.
It's tedious and laborious work. The end results are well worth it!
Just be aware that this process will darken the color of the leather.
Retail for the blacks should be around $150~ $165.
