Thanks! I thought I had read 2005 somewhere. I'm all about an authentic 90's / early 00's retro looks so to me OG CWs is important.

They are starting to dry up. 118 shipped. If I would of waited a day , I could have saved 10 bucks.

Yeah, i have to motivate myself to upload my cws database to an AM+ archive website someone is building so that every cw could be googled.

I agree they are too different from the 2001 cw to be considered a retro, different materials (stitched swoosh vs plastic swoosh on the OG, leather materials vs synthetic on the OG) also the OG is way more bright, the outsole is dark blue (black on 2020) and the insole is different too (white on OG and dark blue for the 2020)

but i also wouldnt call the 2005 a OG cw, the 2001 OGs had a gold air unit, blue laceloops and blue paint around the air unit and a yellow exoskeleton, if there are more than 2 differences compared to the OG cw its already not an OG cw anymore imo

hey im new to this thread and i thought you guys could help me out with something. im looking at a pair of taxis atm and the tag on the tongue says they were made in 2012 in vietnam but everything else i see from the shoe says 2015. the seller said they came out in 2013 and were re released in 2015.

If you're referring to this cw, they were released twice, in 2013 and in 2016 both made in Vietnam.

actually it’s from 2015 because 2016 was the end of the good quality of TNS
