I think it's the sock-liner inside the shoe that makes it difficult to insert your foot into the shoe.

Nah it's different this time around. I've had 09's and 1 or 2 after but the releases from 2020 onward are straight up painful.. the way the sock liner and tongue loops sit too low makes you feel like you've been slap boxing bricks after you get them on.

Yeah, Nike absolutely trolled us with this cw vs the blk/purple. The leather feels good and the tongue is durabuck I belive (either way, it's not a leather tongue on the white cw).

Im bout to give up on my black pair. This shoe you need to size up 1 so you arent spending 10 min just to throw them on.

I remember my boy back in the day would go up 1.5 sizes for them to ball in. Black/red pair too.

Both DTLR and Hibbetts apps, have these down as coming soon and a date of May 1st, but once again that most likely is a placeholder date. At least it’s a good sign that these are still coming out and could be sooner than we think.

They did a bunch of hyperfuse Barkleys back in the early 2010s. Some had decent color blocking but all had horrible material.
