I can’t explain why but they look like a women’s shoe to me. Maybe it’s the shape of the collar? I loved playing in the first pair though so maybe I’ll still try these out.

I just got mine in, personally I hated the way cosmic 1 felt I never even tried to hoop it, it felt caged and stiff and made me feel like I was rocking a size 13 sneaker (I wear 11.5). I tried on the cosmic 2 today and they feel so much better than the 1, I haven’t actually played in them yet but I plan on it in the next couple days.

The cosmic 2 is more minimal and less clunky feeling. It feels geared more towards a guard as opposed to the 1 which never felt that way to me at least. I’m 6’0 180 lbs and mostly play the point.

They don’t look as clunky. I like the 1s aesthetically but as far as playing in them, they weren’t for me. I felt they were more suited for a forward/center. Think imma sit this model out.

Am I the only one that liked playing in the 1s? I thought the court feel on those was among the best I’ve played in and at least imo they didn’t feel noticeably heavy. I’m not exactly a bigger/heavier player either.

I rock the "natural" Cosmic 1 colorway regularly. My New Balance bandit friends think I'm nuts for it.

I feel like the 1 is just so much more interesting in design and materials used.

This has to be one of the biggest, what can we say to be appropriate without being flagrant....underperforming sneakers?

Remember when AD wore the 1s and so many people were like what is that, and they did well and I saw people playing in those.

With the 2s, I just feel like it's a shoe without a market. I don't know who's supposed to want those. Not hoopers, not kids, not old people, not teenagers, not 30-year olds, eco-people? bowleres? like who?
