Pros wear custom orthotics and get their feet and ankles professionally wrapped before every game so the actual shoe they're wearing wouldn't matter as much as it would to a commoner. There are even some pros (most notably Ja Morant) that have hooped in fakes and they're fine.

Their pairs are a lot of times completely different from the released version. Kobe has the OG hyperdunk upper with the Kobe IV outsole before those releasd. There was also a breakdown of a Kyrie shoe where the public release only has phylon or eva as the forefoot cushion setup and his PE pair has zoom in it.

Correct. The Vs just had a plain orange Nike box and the VI was when we saw them actually get a dope box
