Doing the Jordan treatment. Give you a bunch of different new colorways and then have an OG colorway drop here and there, all while keeping coveted OG colorways for special occasions/very limited drops.

Sucks for the people only after the OGs, but I can totally understand why we getting these random colorways.

I think they can do more than the Jordan treatment while still giving us more OG colorways. The thing with Jordans is there's only 4 to 5 OG colorways per model (maybe except the AJ1). Kobes have got at least 10 or so of them, not even including OG PEs (like the Achilles 8s).
Suppose Nike wants to do 20 Kobe releases throughout a year, they can easily do 2 OGs and PEs and 2 new colorways (a Brunson and a Gigi for example) per model (choose five among 11). And steadily rotate so that the same OG colorway model only comes back every 8 to 10 years.
