Since the PG is called the Bait 1, I assume the other signature sneakers won't be named after the players. Just my guess.
Nah, the shoe will be called the PG 1. "Bait" is just the code name for it. Just like the Kyrie 3 has been called the Flytrap 3, & the KD 9 called "Riverchamp"
I think it is probably Nike trying to stretch out sig releases.. Summer - KD Fall - LeBron Winter - Kyrie/Kobe Spring - PG
Ah...makes sense. I just figured around Spring time a lot of people might not see PG. He's kind of the feel good story right now....making his Olympic comeback. KD is kind of like a villain outside of the Bay Area, Kobe is retired, Kyrie is still hoopin in the 1...Would have been a nice quick way to slide that PG 1 out there. Your train of thought makes total sense though...
These better release in September and not March. PG is ballin for Team USA right now and the Pacers will be good too.... can't keep this on the shelf til March. Gotta have a Christmas colorway, All star, Easter etc.
Same. Really hoping more pics leak soon. PG always has some fire colorways, especially this year with his Hyperlives. Think there's gonna be some really cool lookin PG's this year
Another reason I think the PG 1 will release sooner rather than later is because I have to believe Nike will want to take attention away from adidas as they release Harden's sig.
Nah Ben Simmons has been wearing that shoe since his first Summer League game and in his media day pics and Instagram posts. That's basically just the shoe Nike is putting on their forwards and big men to promote right now
So we gonna act like the Air Max Audacity was Anthomy Davis' shoe... And therefore the Audacity 2 not also being his shoe? The Hyperrev 2 was PG's shoe, and he definitely wasn't the only person to wear it.
PG actually never wore the 2nd Hyperrev, he was wearing Hyperdunk lows and Hyperlives all last season.
If you're one of the Sneaker Files sources, then why is every site (Sole Collector, Nice Kicks, SneakerNews) that is crediting your site as their source, yet they're all saying September as the release date?
This doesn't make much sense to me. Why would they want four sig shoe releases from January - April (Kyrie, Kobe, PG, KD), and only one (Lebron, September) the entire rest of the year?
Why would they release one shoe at the beginning of the season and all the rest at some point during or at the end of the season. None of it makes sense with them
