Sneaker gods were looking down on me last night. Dropped $385 and within 2 hrs a record I’ve been trying to sell for 6 mos netted me $675. Got me fired up for these this morning!

My SD pair came in. 
in person I might add. From ordering all the way to my doorstep only took 7 days. I was sure it would be minimum of 2 weeks before I would have them in hand.

That sapphire blue mockup was nice especially with the gum bottom. Would've actually preferred those to the pines, but all good. My pair from goat got authenticated and should be coming sometime next week via DHL from HK. Honestly wasn't surprised considering it was dropped off on a Sunday at like 10pm hst. I'll throw up the photos once they get in since some of you guys in here got good eyes for an LC. Kinda regret not going through SD since I could've probably saved like 40, but I had too much goat credit anyway. Definitely will go through SD on the next big release I strike out on.

This was a sealed copy of an original 1967 Blue Note pressing. MyCoy Tyner - The Real McCoy. I have another copy that's in excellent condition that's probably worth $150-$200. It's kind of a roll of the dice for the buyer if they're actually interested in listening to the record because I couldn't tell them what condition it was in. I only have 3 sealed records out of 1,150+ so I think that unknown is why it sat for 6 mos.

If you had fat stacks of wax in the 90's and got rid of them... don't even want to tell you what those are worth. Especially if it's hip hop or grunge. They didn't make much on vinyl in the 90's when it all moved to CD's so some stuff never released that way, or the pressing was really small and there's not been another in 30 years.As an ex DJ from the 90s I’m amazed that vinyl/records can fetch this much money. But yeah, I think my collection has tripled in value since the pandemic. It's been a pretty easy way to toss a few hundred bucks at a shoe when I want. Best part is I'm trying to downsize just to save physical space so it's a bonus if it buys some sneakers.

Had at least 4 crates worth which were mainly hip hop. Sold everything with the 1200s and the rest of the equipment under 1 package. So memorable going record shopping trying to hint down that exclusive record or finding a diamond in the rough in the bargain bin. Those were the days….

I still enjoy hitting a new store when I’m traveling and digging around for something I don’t have on vinyl. I also digitize all my records so outside of maybe 30-40 records I could part with most of it and not miss it.
I could definitely lose 4 crates and be good

Ordered from SD on 3/26 and delivered today. SD ships to CA even faster than most retailers in the U.S. lol
Ntm packaging was premium. SD aint playing with that double box thickness.
Pulled out the shoebox, my dog applied the customary initial smell test, then I took one whiff of the air hole on the shoe box and I immediately knew thr shoes were authentic without having to see the actual shoes.

1st orders pair delivered.
Ordered 3/25 & delivered 3/31. Probably could have been quicker if I chose a faster shipping seller. Lesson learned.
Everything checks out so far, will do a deep dive later. Only gripe, & that’s Nike QC, the suede is more hairy on one pair
Hope the 2nd pair is more even. Will decide which one to rock lol.
