Free trails are pretty decent. I wouldn't recommend running in them though. They're on sale on FNL for under $50 in select sizes http://www.finishline.com/store/catalog/product.jsp?productId=prod703970.

My recommendation is the Special Field Boot with Free technology. Really great design and durability. The Asics GT 2000 trail shoe is also great. I personally found other brands to work better than nike for running (asics, mizuno, and saucony), so maybe look for the more specialist running brands
