I mentioned this when dblplay posted his retail goat purchase for the white Off White. I think the inspiration is to look like a collector's display packaging like when you buy action figures or toys and you get the clear plastic window packaging and collector's don't take them out the box. (Think Prospector from Toy Story)
if that was their intention then I think its a pretty cool idea. But it would've been better if you could actually see through the box like you could with a toy

Whoa, the past two hours undercutting went crazy. Amazing how prices will dip fast without resellers with bots scooping them up.

For those that have received today - Did your tracking status ever update since it was shipped? Mine says I should be receiving today but no tracking info at all. When I check my order status via nike it says it'll be delivered today. UPS already delivered to my office today too...weird.

For the whites, yes. Black pair is about $600. Prob could find someone that’s willing to negotiate on eBay, if you do a full research on the shoe before buying from them.

MyChoice kept me abreast of the delivery. The original ETA was early next week. I don’t know if it has anything to do with Memorial Day and why they bumped it up, but I got the notification last night. (via email from UPS)

I thought the new OW 1's box looks pretty cool with cut-out flip top lid with the clear window. Looks better than the original brown inverted box like the other OW Nikes

From what I've seen, there is definitely yellowing, especially on the foams.

Yeah, my initial date was 5/29 as well then changed to 5/25 (today) shortly after. I guess ill just have to wait it out.

Do these fit like the Chicago’s? Or are they more along the lines of your traditional Jordan 1’s? I ask bc my pair of Chicago’s seem to be a half size up in comparison. Thanks

I work at jfk airport, and Virgil Abloh flew out with my airline ( Lufthansa airlines). About a month ago,
He was wearing I think the off white zoom flys and while I was escorting him
It was killing me to ask him for a pair of ows that he could hook me up with because I hooked his *** up with a first class upgrade ( he was in business)
But I was scared that he would complain to my boss or something, damnit

Wear mine frequently, aside from normal wear and tear, I’d say they’re holding up in that regard. The effort to prevent hastening the yellowing process goes only as far as putting them back inside their box when not wearing. Otherwise, I’d imagine oxidation will eventually get them.

Straight up asking the man for some shoes woulda been wierd AF.
But what you could of done is just have a casual convo about streetwear and kicks ;his kicks in particular and you never know what could’ve happened.

I feel the same but lately I haven’t had any problems with eBay sellers. And StockX been f&*$ing up more recently, their service never fully recovered since December IMO.
Before the preorder for the OW UNC was posted, I almost bought a pair from a seller on eBay for $1125 shipped, returns accepted and all if not satisfied. And would’ve received it on Tuesday but I want to save that $125. If you just look thru you’ll find some good sellers. Ask questions...how they answer you should be able to feel their vibe.
