I saw it yesterday. Then it disappeared. Saw the link on twitter and signed in and it said coming soon. At 12 it went live and I was able to checkout instantly.
My wife's account went Str8 to sold out.

Yeah, they can. It was through exclusive access only.
Essentially they pick of handful of accounts, using whatever method they use, and then its FCFS for those people to purchase a pair. Here is a picture i grabbed from twitter.



The only time I have gotten an exclusive access was the OW Black AM90's & those went quick. People bought them before i could & I was on it immediately.
