I'm gonna ask a dumb question: how are the Zoom Fly SPs different than a regular Zoom Fly? I've been googling and it's not entirely clear. Are the SPs a lifestyle shoe or are they intended for running like the regular ZF?

The difference is in the upper. The SP's have the same design as the VF but utilize a textile material. I run in mine as do many others.

Rumors were that the ZF and VF updates were coming in the "fall lineup". I haven't seen anything concrete yet. Plus, what are they gonna put on there? "Not Available" would look pretty stupid. Berlin is in about a month, I would guess they give us something around that time, for the fall marathon season.

yes, need to get a pair soon. Although my ice blue pair only has 80 some odd mi on them, I want another pair specifically for race day. I'd like to use this current pair to rotate as a trainer

I heard that the Vaporfly v2 is now gonna be 2019 and that the Zoom Fly Flyknit is gonna be roughly Oct 1

Interesting, on this page https://www.nike.com/ca/en_gb/c/running/zoom the "Coming Soon" text has been changed to "Notify Me".

Looking at that page in regards to the ZF irks me that Nike beats around the bush on the sole

"Lightweght foam midsole"

Just state that its React encased in Lunarlon, why the vague description I dont know.

they do mention lunarlon and while they do not mention react, they do say they combine soft and firm foam and we do know react is just the newest version of lunarlon so it could be the firmer foam they mentioned
