LeBron for the series 35.8, 13.3, 8.8 per game. So shiny and sparkly.

But then.....

78 for 196 shooting. .398 from the field, 31% from 3, and 68% from the foul line. And 3.5 turnovers per game.

Mozgov and Tristan Thompson, both shot 50%, but only got 49 and 48 shots respectively, with Moz being benched one of the games. Moz even shot 75% from the free throw line.

Narrative being Bron makes all his teammates play better, its been said for years and years and years, yet............?

Instead of featuring a front line of Mozgov, Tristan, and LeBron, and pounding away at the Warriors with that for the whole series, it became the LeBron show, and the entire team was strangulated. Kyrie even played 1 of the 6 games, and they still didn't feature an attack with all 3 front court guys as the primary's. In a series where the Warriors got nothing out of Klay, and actually benched their Center halfway thru, the Cavs never attacked with what strengths they did have, which was their front court. Clearly the Cavs were weak in the back court, but the Warriors were weak in the front court, compared to what the Cavs had to work with, and they didn't even attempt to exploit it. They just let Bron run around and do whatever he wanted, then blamed the rest of the roster for not helping him enough.

I'm sorry, but knowing you lost Kyrie after game 1, I don't see why you don't focus like hell on your 3 bigs (including Bron in that) and using Shump/Delly/JR as defenders only, with the occasional open shot, and using James Jones as needed for spacing purposes. That's the attack they SHOULD have mustered. Maybe, by doing that, it frees up some energy for LeBron, and he can play more shut down defense when needed, or even have a little more in the tank come Q4 instead of the "he's doing everything he can do!!!!!" garbage where that apparently entails missing 118 shots in 6 games with 21 missed free throws and 21 turnovers and no impact defense. *shrugs*
Thing is though they did pound it inside. Hell that's all they were trying to establish last night. I was losing my mind with them forcing it into Mosgov. It just wasn't working. And when GS went small in Game 4 it totally threw them off and they had to run with them the whole time. At one point in every game it was close. Cavs just ended up shooting abysmal all around. The guards did zero, Bron lost his shot but kept shooting so it kept them around and GS made the shots they needed to simple as that.

Max kellerman was just saying that lebron shot a low percentage so that Tristan and Mozgod could get the offensive rebounds.
That's why he's really a boxing analyst, he didn't know anything else.

nah ...would be just as much if not more ignorance than current espn
probably, but at least there would be objectivity. For Lebron and the Cavs and For the Warriors.

You hear praisers and hate for Bron.

It would be more interesting to all viewers not one sided.

at the end of the day when kids that are beyond our time look up 2015 NBA champions, they will only see the Warriors, unless the NBA is putting asterisks ... LoL

Very true

I guess they wanted to run everything thru Lebron to take advantage of his court vision

But they didn't have to rely exclusively on him Mozgov actually passed relative well out of double team in the post in and Tristan was actually ok in the post too in game 6

The Cavaliers problems were turnovers and making free throws in the last game

I disagree, Cavs did pound it inside and they dominated the boards, Warriors adjusted and had those bigs scrambling on the defensive end and were also fumbling the ball once the Warriors started flashing an extra man down. The Cavs frontcourt success pretty much got Bogut benched. Moz and TT ate so well in game 4 that they got blown out by 21 on their home floor. There was literally nothing more Bron or the bigs could do to win this series aside from grinding out 2 close wins. The Cavs loss to a better team, Warriors deserve all the credit for making Bron inefficient and uncomfortable, nothing was easy for him this series. Iggy is deservingly getting most of the credit but that entire Warriors' D especially in the 4th qtrs reminded me of so many other championship teams that would just take it up another notch during crunch time.

i dont get how people are throwing shade at the warriors for their "easy path" to the title. yet we overlook the bums lebron goes through year after year in the east. remember after game 3 talk about how this is the greatest finals performance ever? writers stay prisoner of the moment

blatt did make some poor decisions but it wouldn't have mattered

happy for the dubs and rosgo :smokin :smokin :smokin :smokin

This is great for th warriors. More motivation for next year

Cavs getting complacent because no matter how much they fail someone else will always be blamed
