Oklahoma State is the 8th ranked pass efficiency defense in the nation if you wanna nitpick.

From a pure numbers/averages standpoint (yes, I know these can sometimes be deceiving, but it's a pretty good overall look):

PAC-12
Average yards allowed per game = 432 (250 passing)
Average points allowed per game = 28 (1.79 passing TD)
Average pass efficiency defense = 138.8 rating, 62% completion, 7.33 yds/attempt

Andrew Luck: 264 passing yards/gm, 2.9 passing TD/gm, 70% completion, 8.5 yds/attempt, 167.5 rating, 35 TDs, 9 INTs

BIG 12
Average yards allowed per game = 422 (253 passing)
Average points allowed per game = 30 (1.67 passing TD)
Average pass efficiency defense = 131.5 rating, 60.7% completion, 7.2 yds/attempt

Robert Griffin III: 333 passing yards/gm, 3 passing TD/gm, 72.4% completion, 10.8 yds/attempt, 192.3 rating, 36 TDs, 6 INTs

Agreed.  Everyone wants to point out how Luck didn't have weapons and his receivers weren't able to create as much space.  When he gets to the NFL you think the defenders are going to be just as slow and the skill players are going to be that much better than the defensive players?  He is going to have to throw the ball in just as small of a window going up against bigger and faster defensive players.  So damn tired of hearing that argument for Lucks favor.  Griffin out performed Luck in every category.  Monte Ball is the one who has an argument of not getting enough votes.  Dude had one of the best years for a running back of all time and still came in 4th in the voting. 

Loved how it looked like Andrew Luck and his father were about to cry, dude thought he had it in the bag I could tell, was feeling himself entirely to much during the show.  Glad he got served up a slice of humble pie.

On a team that won the Big-10 and is playing in the Rose Bowl.

Montee Ball should have won the Heisman. However after Ball, RGIII was the most deserving. It's an award for best college player, not best pro prospect.

And I fell bad for Luck. ESPN is doing the same to him that they did to Tebow and the Heat. They hype him up way to much to the point that people root against him. He seems like a solid dude and there is no denying he is the best QB prospect for the NFL. However the "analysts" did him a disservice with all the flawless and second coming of Manning talk.

Oh my god just stop.Andrew Luck is the best QB in the draft for a reason. Humble pie? Coming from the winner who annointed himself champion last week. You really have no clue about Andrew Luck and his demeanor.When Andrew Luck throws a ball into a tight window it's deemed as a bad throw, when Robert griffin throws a ball to a wide open wideout he is the most exciting player in college football. When Stanford is up 10-0, "Luck is struggling". When Baylor is down 35-0, the defense is at fault. You honestly find reasons to not like the guy. I'm starting to think it has more to do with pure jealously.

i love your trolling AndrewLuck. Very refreshing. Just to let you know though, RGIII actually threw his WRs open, or
DID fit the ball into tight windows. Even though Luck had those slow lumbering TEs and WRs on his team, they would still (somehow)
manage to be running free down the field. And when they make the catch, the announcers are like "OH MY GOD *FAP FAP FAP* DID
YOU SEE THAT BEAUTIFUL PINPOINT PRECISION PASS!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!", when the pass actually looked like the hail mary Tyler Palko
threw last week.

I do believe both QBs will be successful (depending on the team), but I see RGIII doing a lot more with his skill than Luck will with
his. Like I said before, the speed of the game will catch up to Luck, and you see what happened to Luck when there was real speed
and awareness on the field (Oregon). Dude was shook out of his mind, and looked like a completely average QB. RGIII may have had
more losses than Luck, but he never looked shook like Luck did either during those losses.

Man nobody is arguing that he won't be that good in the NFL.  But he clearly didn't deserve to win the Heisman this year.  You can't go off the logic that because he might be the best prospect and might have the best NFL career that he should automatically win the Heisman.  That is what you are trying to do.  RG3 and Monte Ball had much more impressive games this year than Luck, and that is why RG3 won the damn trophy.  The Heisman is for the best player for the season, not the best NFL prospect.
