What it boils down to is that they're just trying to be generous and it may be ignorant to them but you have to remember how a "believers" mind works.

I wish I could tell them I am an atheist just to see their reaction. But of course it doesn't bother me when they say things like that.

What does bother me is when I have to walk up 6 flights of stairs at my job to retrieve a document from 2003 because the elevators aren't working and when I bring the document to the person that needed it, hes gonna say thank god. Thank God?
