i'll have a beer maybe 2 times out of the week. but just one beer. when i'm out with friends at dinner, i'll have a drink as well, but to get aslight buzz.

Not often but when I do I can remain in control. I've never throw up, blacked out, drove drunk, anything stupid.

I can have a few drinks, relax, become more social, have a good time, but I can also cut myself off at some point and be fully functioning.

I use to always refuse alcohol, but I gave it a shot and was able to control myself and realized it's not as evil as I thought. It's just about knowingyour limits, in moderation I enjoy it.

Sometimes it's pretty socially awkward to be places and not be drinking. In my circles it's like an elephant in the room if you're at a businessfunction or some other gathering and you're the only one not drinking. Even if you give the "I had a rough night last night" excuse.

a high tolerance for alcohol is one of the signs of an alcoholic. (im not sayin you are) but if you can go out and have that many drinks and not feel buzzed or anything that you have a very high tolerance. its good that you wanna go out and have a good time and remember it all but dnt assume that because you never get wasted that you arent on your way to be an alcoholic. (which again im not sayin you are)

Nah I can see how you'd say that; I'm a pretty big guy (6'4 225 lbs) so my tolerance is naturally fairly high; it usually takes 4beers or so for me to even feel anything. I didn't start drinking until college and I would say if you averaged it out over the last four years I'vedrank less than once a month. Once I'm buzzed I rarely ever keep drinking (one of my friends will be like 12 drinks deep and all he can say is how he needsanother shot or more beer

)

I often go several months at a time without drinking and if you told me I could never drink again I probably wouldn't care. I have a much harder time beingaddicted to pizza and snack food than alcohol

I find it incredibly odd that people don't drink. I dont think I could name one friend or person I know, that doesn't drink. Seems like theres so manyon NT, that don't.
