I cant smoke Weed due to having a decent job, so nah, I couldnt give up Alcohol....

If I had to I could stop

drinking cost too much and when I get drunk it leads into spending even more money

i've given up alcohol for Lent several times and still went out just as much. it's really not that hard if you are serious about it.

Go without it is possible but i like drinking...i have though not drank in a while. In the gym andwanna just get my workout on and get the body in shape. I have gone 4 months without lq cuz i was a heavy drinker before. It's not because i'm analcoholic but because always in a drinking envirnoment

yea def. my 21st is coming up in april, so i'll drink then for sure.

the hangovers make me question drinking every time i do it.

and like north west said, i drink and spend money on booze, then go spend more money on stupid stuff

I'm out at least 4 nights a week...usually 6.

How can you chill at a club or restaurant with no drink? Who drinks water/milk at a club?

I've done my best to limit my self to dinners during the week (and subsequently focusing on Cola), and only going out Saturday night. If I go out Thurs,Fri, Sunday I post up with redbull....

Then I just end up throwin back 6 red bulls in a night and nothing healthy about that.

Point is. I drink 100+ drinks a week and I'm not proud of it nor do I choose to do this

no offense, but once you stop choosing to drink you have a serious problem

whoa whoa....100+ drinks a week? hit up your local AA meeting...

i rarely drink so its nothing really for me..when i do though its always a prob so i guess thats why i dont

liquor: YES

beer: NO

i need a cold refreshing miller lite after a hard days work

ive been in recovery for the last 2+ years, so for me sobriety is my priority.
i racked up a lot of loss in 10 years of drinking and drugging, life is a lot easier now.
i dont really struggle with not drinking or using anymore, my struggles come from living life on lifes terms, without the ease of escape that came fromdrinking/drugging.

^good for you dude. it's a tough thing but your body and your loved ones will thank you

I'm embarrassed to admit that I probably could not.

On another note, I've drank liquor exclusively up until last year when I finally got around to beer. I've since gained a ridiculous amount of weight,it's disgusting. I've really been considering going back to strictly liquor.
