Glad to finally see one of these threads on NT! I have a small farm in south Florida that focuses on specialty produce and edible garnishes. If anyone ever has questions about growing their own food, feel free to message me anytime I’d love to assist and help move our population to be more self sufficient!

Gardening/farming will be one of my hobbies as soon as I can purchase a home with a front and back yard.

Grew medical MJ last year. It was a lot more work than I thought but I learned from my mistakes and am going to do better this spring.

It's legal here in MA, so I grow it outdoors like other folks might grow tomatoes. My cousin brought some nice clones from LA and all I did was put it in the ground and feed it some good nutrients. My aunt went OD with it. She has like a 10 ft x 10ft area of plants flourishing.

Whoa nice. You're suppose to poop in the soil. That's real natural. It fertilizes the soil. What you poop is really suppose to go back into the earth.

We got some orange and lemon trees in the backyard, but that’s the extent of my gardening knowledge

Dope thread. Thought about making a Gardening appreciation thread some weeks ago but wrongly assumed no one would care. My family always maintained a garden back in the old country, so I earned my green thumb early on. Recently got back into it as an adult in the last 3 years. I'll post pictures of my crops in due time. Looking forward to sharing/ learning tips and techniques.

Go get a mint plant. Super easy to grow. But I wouldn’t plant it with other plants cause it will take over your garden
