I've been lazy/stubborn when it came to making this thread, But here goes...

Last summer, I somehow turned one of my folders into a Control Panel shortcut, And I can't reverse it.

I know that the files are still there, But hidden somehow...They're taking up space and I can't even get into the folder to delete some stuff.

I can show you better then I can tell you...Pics:

- there's a 'My Videos' above the one you clicked, are your videos there? (i assume you already checked the other Video folder but i have to ask)

- the 'My Videos' you clicked has the icon for the control panel so you may have just changed the name somehow....

- Yea, That's because I made another one, But I haven't put anything in there yet.

- And I didn't change the name, It's still a video folder, I know for fact the files are in there too...

Yea, There's 60 gigs of movies/TV in there...

cant search to find the original folder?
That is the OG folder.

I googled this, And it's a way to hide/lock a folder's content...I don't know how I did it, Or how to reverse.

Nothing that's turned up tells me how...

go into control panel, classic view

folder options, the view tab

midway click "show hidden" then try to find it in an explorer window.
