I'm interning for a marketing group that is in the developing stages of creating a new service called "Cool Coinz", which allows people to give and receive "coins" based on what and who is cool. As a result, people with more coins received free stuff, lots of free stuff, like movie screening passes and tickets, clothing, concert tickets, food, etc.
As an intern, I'm working on helping it develop, so it's still in the beta and testing stages now (as you can see by the crappy interface and design). However, there's a contest between the interns to see who can collect the most Cool Coinz in a week. Me, being the awesome guy I am, I want to win and show them who's the coolest.
So what I ask of you is to please simply take two minutes out of your time and register for a Cool Coinz account at http://coolcoinz.com/user/register and proceed to my profile at http://coolcoinz.com/viewprofile?id=277 and click the top left corner that says "Give Coinz to Charles Zhao", you can give up to 5 a day, so depending on how you think I am, send as many as you want.
Cool Coinz is definitely an interesting idea because the amount of free stuff you can get is amazing. Who knows, maybe you doing this favor for me will make you want to use CC too. How successful the idea will become is a mystery for the coming years, but as of now, it's just in developing and who knows what it'll be like in say 5-10 years.
