Start off with Bizarre Ride 2 The Pharcyde.
Best song would be Passing Me By, which is in my top 10 hip-hop songs of all time.

One of the most under-appreciated groups ever.

wow, they are great. you really need to peep their first 2 albums, as others mentioned

such a fun and eclectic group that really did their thing in the 90s

i saw them perform live at my college on a grass field during lunch break, it was tight

their style was new and refreshing for that time

My favorite hip hop group by far..good choice.
Both Bizarre Ride II and Labcabincalifornia are solid. 2 different sounds tho. Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde is more playful in tone...Labcab is a little morelaid back/jazzy. Plain Rap and Humbolt Beginnings came after the group broke up and don't include all the members. Still decent albums nonetheless. In 2005Fatlip (probably the best member of the goup/my personal fav) released The Loneliest Punk, which is pretty solid. My fav off that album is "What's UpFatlip?" It has a funny video to go along with it...peep youtube.
If you like what you hear then get the Sold My Soul compilation....lots of b-sides and remixes by other producers...very good too.
