Been in Texas for 8 years...and I'm starting to realize more and more I'm tired of this place...all my homeboys aren't really good friends when itcomes down to it...my bestfriend just pulled some BS on me today also...on top of me taking a big L from my ex...anyway booo hoo for me, but yeah someone namea nice city to live in, I'm ready to dip and not look back...

I think you gotta tell us a little about yourself to get a real answer. age? occupation? etc.

If you want the exact opposite of Texas, move to SF, Seattle, or Portland. If you want a city with less dbags then SF and Seattle, move to Portland

Well if you are unemployed you should probably go to craigslist and look up some job opps for some of the cities posted if you're interested. Then, maybelook at apartments and how much this is going to end up costing you?

Log off.

Portland shouldn't even be an option. It was voted the nation's most depressed city

De Moines, Iowa. It's a growing city with lots of opportunities in tech & health industries. Living is very affordable, safe and has lots surroundingit. It might sound a little out there, but it's true

I would say San diego but I'm biased cuz I'm from here. But we have the best waether in the us and just an all out nice place to live but it's aoil expensive and you don't have a jon so that mite be a problem

hell naw. my people live out there and i had to drive to ames for my cousin's graduation and them cats still got people that pump your gasfor you. and corn fields galore. social life seems like it'd be terrible but as far as getting paper its prob opportunity.

but to OP you def should stay put. Texas is easily about the best bang for your buck you can get in the nation in terms of work opp mixed with cost of living. you'll go broke trying to move somewhere else unless you have something real good lined up already
