We have 2 pro teams. They have 1. Soon enough, we'll have 3.

You can't argue with me on this one though: UW > any college/university in Oregon.
...I guess you could make an argument if you're talking about sports.
I'm sorry but you are now just talking just to talk

on what grounds are you basing your assumption that UW > any college or university in Oregon

that statement alone proves you are a complete moron

UO, OSU, OHSU, Lewis and Clark, Willamette, and Reed or equally as good if not better then UW overall academically

UO and OSU?

Look through that site for OSU and UO and then come back to me.
they may not rank high on that list because the other majors that they offer do not compare well to other schools

but UO has one of the top business, science and journalism schools in the nation

as for OSU they have one of the top engineering and science programs

They do not compare well to UW. OSU is tier 3 and OU isn't even top 100

I love Portland.

It's a way chill place and a nice place to call home.
Clackamas & Lake Oswego are

too

Eugene...pretty weird, crazy place. I love Oregon athletics, but will try all that I can do to not live there. Doesn't fit my particular personality oragenda in life.
Overall though...

I love the state of Oregon.

UW is not better than oregon at all. last time i checked the the inventor of Nike is an alumni at Oregon and donates so much money there. plus Oregon footballactually one a few games and won there bowl game

I grew up in Portland, now its been a while since i lived there but i still go back and visit the family about once a year.

here is what i remember about Portland.

First off, best weed in the US (IMO)

Girls are a big big big let down. I find it very hard to even find a girl out there that ranks above an 8.

you can smoke in the bars
sick.gif

a whole lot of strip clubs (and the girls get nekkid) ....... but, the strip clubs arent even getting close to the stuff i have witness in East St. Louis
pimp.gif

a lot of rain and depressing weather

beautiful scenery once you go just about 20-30 minutes outside the city

weird little emo hipster scene that i cant really get down with

the club scene is laughable at best

Tillamook Ice Cream Factory
pimp.gif

Voodoo Doughnuts
pimp.gif

Staniches (some of the best burgers in the entire country)
pimp.gif

Hella trains to paint for days (damn i miss that)

you can buy beer until 2:30

people are nosey, but for the most part pretty genuinely nice.

Saturday market, (used to go DOWN on the hill across the street)

A lot of dope nature spots to shake off too not to far from the city. Lakes, rivers, bridges to jump off etc....

The beach is hella far away, and not very nice when you get there
laugh.gif

a lot of heroin and meth use
sick.gif

a lot of street gutter kids with tatted up faces begging you for change around pioneer place

Burnside skate park

Pre-Law/Philosophy. Is the campus pretty big?

My expearences in OR:

Getting a $550 speeding ticket.
Having the gang unit pull me and my boy over for doing tags.
Being followed by a police car for 10 blocks, we called it a night and went back to the hotel.
Having a uhaul break down in grants pass. The transmission was spewing flaming fluid on the ground.

The only thing good about OR is MT hood.
