Just finishing Band of Brothers....

I'd already seen the HBO series, but book is still great.

Any other suggestions for good world war 2 books?

It's just a book. I like reading relationship books. I've passed that one in the bookstores for so long, but I finally read the table of contents and decided I should buy it. I'll let you know what I think by the end of the week.

This thread reminds me I need to finish reading the other 24 laws of power

Best seat in the house by Spike Lee..........................one of the best books i have ever picked up by my hero spike lee

Can one of you suggest me a couple of writers similar to Kurt Vonnegeut? I'm basically looking for other writers that are as witty, clever and humorous as him. Also if you know of any other writers who are not as popular, but are talented and witty please let me know. I'm trying to expand my sense in literature as well as I have with cinema.

Paulo Coehlo. The Alchemist is a fantastic read and will really give you hope that your dreams could come true. One of my favorite quotes comes from that book:

"When you really want something, the universe conspires to give it to you."

If you were the least bit interested in the book, it should've been nearly impossible to put down at a certain point, at least it was for me.  I should finish up The Kite Runner tomorrow then I'll probably head out to 1/2 price books to see what I can pick up.
