Man, RIP Sheikie Baby. Met him once a loooong time ago when I was a kid. He had come to my school for a random wrestling card and fought Ronnie Garvin. I remember waiting around with a few other kids and trying to get his autograph. Even at the height of his heel-dom, he could not have possibly been nicer to the kids that were waiting for him. That always stuck with me through the years.

I remember me and my brother used to have all of the old school LJN Action Figures..My brother was older so he always got first dibs on who he wanted to pick and he always took the Iron Sheik so he'd have the 1 figure that had hooks on the end of his feet..When he'd get bored of playing he'd just throw that Sheik figure at me and it'd always hit me with those damn hooks on his boots..Iron Sheik was a true heel even in my basement in Dayton OH 35+ yrs ago..RIP to a true legend and wrestling ICON..
