NYC Sportbike "gang" vs. Alexian Lien Thread vol. Let's Try this Again.

jjs07 jjs07 did you feel this way about bikers and traffic when Rolling Thunder was in town a few weeks ago champ??

The purpose of the rolling thunder is slightly different than the sport bike gang that attacked Lien. You know this.

The strawman...again :lol

I never tried to equate their purpose, be it separately or combined....quit jumping the gun champ, stick with me. Make sure you tell your photographer buddy the same. I just asked if you feel the same way or had the same feelings when Rolling Thunder was in town. Simple as that.

bruh Rolling Thunder gets a permit to congregate. They take all the necessary steps to ride legally in congregation.

The fact that these bikers were together for an event dubbed the "Hollywood Block Party" without a permit means that their congregation was illegal from jump.

Your argument was just blown to **** right now.

If you're going to straw man at least do it correctly.

You just showed all of us you didn't do one iota of research on this subject. Quit jumping the gun champ, stick with us.

:lol

Loud and wrong as it pertains to CERTAIN aspects of Rolling Thunder champ. Unless you live in or near DC like JJ's and I do stick to asking questions before you run off at the mouth, and if you live in this area and don't know any better shame on you. Too many people around here are interjecting their own assumptions on certain matters instead of simply asking questions......that goes for your photographer buddy as well.

Again rolling thunder gets all the necessary permits to congregate and do their rally.

Where I'm from is immaterial to that point.

You're just blabbing off at the mouth now. Prove me wrong.

:lol Hell the vets are escorted by police.

Edit: Double checked, turns out D.C. has no laws against parading through the city, so they don't need permits anyways. In 2013 they were denied permit, not sure if they got permits since.

In NYC you need permit.

Unless you live in NYC you should probably stick to asking questions. :lol

Because you clearly don't even know about the laws in your OWN city.

:rollin

Any idiot knows white Harley bike gangs get special treatment from law enforcement over other ones.

There is also a police escort for the Rolling Thunder as well...

that was what I was referring to...

The vets at Rolling Thunder are accompanied by a police motorcade.

The DC attorney general office even said that the parade was not illegal and a permit was not necessary.

The police escort just further gives merit to that.

While I'm sure there are vets at Rolling Thunder that are part of OMGs, I'm fairly certain a majority of bikers at Rolling Thunder are vets not affiliated with OMGs.

On Memorial Day, can you tell me what laws they're breaking when riding to DC?

:lol this is SO ******* off topic.

I'm NOT talking about the rally Rolling Thunder has or when they congregate. You would know that if you asked instead of assuming. You wanna keep assuming, take it to another message board champ.....same rules apply to...well you know who.

Again if you lived in this area you would know that with so MANY Rolling Thunder members and riders that every time a group of members ride it isn't with a permit or an authorized police escort in traffic. They take

You keep not saying much.

Again they don't need a permit. In NYC you do.

Enjoy that traffic pleighboi.

So why even bring them up? :lol

The irony....yet here you are judging how us NYers....the commuters who deal with NYC BIKE GROUPS should feel about them....bruh you don't live here, like those of us who do.

Not for EVERY event that the riders have that weekend or when some of the riders go out for a quick ride. Those same riders hold up traffic and will have 1 rider or more stop in the middle of an intersection/traffic light and hold up traffic both ways to allow the rest of the riders they are with to stay together so they don't get seperated from the pack by other vehicles. What are your thoughts on that champ??

I see that the same way I see a funeral procession that blocks traffic in an orderly fashion to move on....

Much different than random bikerboys poppin wheelies, banging on people windows, trying to punk civilian drivers... and then crying when a 2 ton vehicle gives em that work.

GWAP answered it, champ.

Rolling Thunder is a sanctioned rally for Memorial Day. And that's what you asked about. You keep moving the goalposts :lol

And FWIW, even without the plum being thrown, there are still phone records to the police regarding the reckless riding of the bike gang that eventually assaulted Lien. Their riding was a problem from the jump.
