They don't add 20%. They charge you 80% of the giftcard purchase price. If you want a $500 gc, you pay $400.

Somebody posted in the coupon thread that it is from now until 12/25, and that the GC's can't be used until after 12/25.

And BigSupa, you're getting it mixed up. Just to back up what pdoggy said, they charge you 80% of the full value of the gift card, they don't give youan extra 20% to spend on the gift card. That may be where the confusion came from.

This eastbay gift card thing is not rocket science, I'm not sure we need 2 pages of replies to figure it out.

Buy gift card for x amount, and pay 0.80x. After Christmas, gift card is worth x amount towards any purchase, no exclusions. Whether you want to be slick andadd it on live.com or ebates or whatever then do it.

There's a box that's "Promotional Code" or something like that when you check out to put the code in.

Versache, my comments were nothing personal toward you either, I should have made that clear. This thread is great and I have bought many pairs of shoes fromother outlets because of it but for selfish reasons I wanted to keep Pigeon Forge to myself.

Ive actually been to the Seattle outlets twice in the last month and they haven't had any new stuff worth mentioning. I'll keep checking and will letyou all know if I hear anything. But, to answer your question, I feel that since resellers are aware of the heat thats been dropping and being posted in thisforum, some niketalkers may be hesitant to share info. Before people like Versache started dropping info on here about Pigeon Forge, no one really even knew orcared about that place. One guy even said that things use to sit on shelves for days in that store. Maybe more people are just letting everyone find out forthemselves or telling a few people through IM's where heat is gonna drop due to the shady business that have been taking place with those who buy up allthe shoes for cheap and raise the prices to try and make a profit. Not saying that it's right or wrong, but thats my take on it.
