That will be said during the intro to SportsCenter.  Not watching ESPN FTW.

Wish I wouldn't have spent so much money lately.  Being gun shy on this deal FTL.  Plus the only authentic I'd get as of now is Amar'e because he's the only safe player.  Swingmans for $49 or whatever they come out to is pretty dope though.  Definitely investing in a Landry Fields jersey in the offseason, the 70s throwback they've been rocking the past 2 games which they should stick to for the future.

I'm more annoyed at the Nets rumors. That team and it's fans suck so bad

The Lakers and specifically Phil have not given the body language that they're on the verge of really entertaining a big trade like that. They just going through the motions. I can see them make moves by the deadline but Bynum for Melo isn't smart on the Lakers part.
Anthony distances himself from Nuggets
As New York Knicks president Donnie Walsh remains unwilling to gut his roster to make a trade for Carmelo Anthony(notes), the Denver Nuggets are fighting to hold together a coaching staff and locker room that has grown increasingly disillusioned with the franchise star, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

Several sources describe a locker room frustrated with Anthony chasing shots and points over winning games, a resistance to listen to coach George Karl and a distancing of himself throughout the season from the rest of the team.

Carmelo Anthony has said he'd consider signing an extension with the Nuggets if he's not traded. Some people think he's bluffing.
(NBAE/Getty Images)

For these reasons – and a fear of losing him for nothing in free agency – few are buying the bluff of the Nuggets believing they can still convince him to sign a three-year, $65 million contract extension.

“With the way he’s distanced himself from the team, the organization, they’re kidding themselves if they think he’s signing a new deal,

The Nuggets have asked for all of the Knicks' best young prospects in a deal for Carmelo Anthony.

Denver is demanding Wilson Chandler, Danilo Gallinari, Landry Fields, Raymond Felton, Timofey Mozgov and a first-round pick (obtained by trading Anthony Randolph) in exchange for Anthony and Chauncey Billups.

"They want everything," a league source said. "The Knicks didn't even have to sit down and talk about that offer. It's not even logistically possible. They'd have two miserable stars with nothing around them."

"Maybe they [the Nuggets] just don't want to do it," the source said. "Didn't they do that with the Nets? When you keep asking for more until you say no, maybe you don't want to do it. Maybe they want to go to the playoffs with Anthony and call [Anthony's] bluff on June 30th."

Denver clearly doesn't want to deal with us. Felton for Billups is fine in my mind, but now they want Chandler, Gallinari, Fields, and Mozgov?

Billups
Bill Walker
Melo
Shawne Williams
Turiaf/Curry?

Maybe we can finally sign Patrick Ewing Jr. now

If that's what denver wants and they won't budge then I'm perfectly happy with our current team without melo.

Denver is just salty that Melo doesn't want to play with them. What Denver "wants" wouldn't even be possible, so why even put that on the table since it'd be impossible even if the Knicks agreed to that?
