The two demographics of tonights viewers and the super bowl are on OPPOSITE ends of a spectrum.

But the older people and the poeple watching for commercials @ the Super Bowl all go to the bathroom and refill their plates with appetizers at Halftime. They dont watch that %*%*. Atleast make it entertaining for the people that can hold their blatters for more than 5 minutes and want to watch a good Halftime show.

No, youve got it backwards.

The casual viewer chats/eats/uses the restroom during the game.  The commercials and halftime are the only thing they actually watch.
