7 runs for Bumgarner. Probably doubled the total run support he's gotten all year haha.

Even though he obviously isn't going to play I'm glad to see him get recognition he deserves.

Damn, didn't know Carpenter was pitching that bad. Well he gets to face the Giants.

I hate to be that guys....but the recognition he deserves?  As a baseball fan and not just a Giants fan, I couldnt disagree stronger.

Buster Posey: .284 avg, 4 HR, 21 RBI, 17 runs, .756 OPS, 63 total bases

Brian McCann: .304 avg, 6 HR, 29 RBI, 15 runs, .830 OPS, 84 total bases

Yadier Molina: .311 avg, 3 HR, 24 RBI, 18 runs, .813 OPS, 75 total bases

Miguel Montero: .287 avg, 6 HR, 27 RBI, 26 runs, .837 OPS, 77 total bases

Jonathan Lucroy: .312 avg, 5 HR, 24 RBI, 15 runs, .836 OPS, 60 total bases

Ramon Hernandez: .307 avg, 7 HR, 7 RBI, 13 runs, .896 OPS, 62 total bases

I'm sorry.  I know we would all love Buster to be an All-Star, but there is no way you can convince me that he deserves it.  His stats just dont add up.  He wasnt having the season we all hoped he would prior to injury, and he shouldnt be an All-Star.

as many times as the Giants players been robbed of All Star selection before, it would be a nice to see the roles changed...
