Paul George WAS definitely better but Kawhi seems to have brought his game to a whole new level this year. He's honestly a top 3 overall player in the league right now. He might impact the game on both sides of the court more than anybody other than Bron right now.

Also for as much of a lockdown defender he is Russ & KD were sure cooking his boots in the playoffs

This man hit 7 threes all of last season. On 44 attempts.

Spo & Fizdale basically grew up with him in the league and he wouldn't shoot threes for them.

He just met Mayor a few months ago and is firing away from downtown.

And Kawhi was better then Pg13 last year as well.

Hating on Kawhi D because of last years playoffs is like saying curry is a horrible defender because Kyrie Irving and Lebron were punking him.

I'm not confident in them beating the Grizz in a playoff series with both teams healthy. If they are a threat, then that makes Memphis one as well. At this point in time, I don't see EITHER team being a serious title contender threat.

Maybe that's bias, but its the same thing with LAC every year. No real improvement at their SF spot, bench is still so-so, great offense as always and will have a great reuglar season record. But somehow, Blake and/or CP3 gets hurt every single year or they fall flat on their face.
