These dudes scores 900 runs or so this season. They’re most they’ve scored in a season in over 70 years.

But they can’t hit for **** in October. They stay beating up on these divisional opponents in the regular season. But come October they look crap against these same teams.

Being down 4-2 feels more like 8-2 the way they struggle to score in the playoffs.

Last October against San Diego. The games they lost were 5-3, 2-1, and 5-3. At the very least they should’ve won game 3 where they lost 2-1.

The pitching wasn’t great by any stretch last October. But it was good enough for the bats to have made something happen in some of those games.
