Most of you dudes have no idea how annoying it is right now living in North Carolina hearing every UNC fan bragging about beating a team without their once in a lifetime prospect. Allllll over every social media platform.

This is like beating a LeBron-led team without LeBron. And UNC fans response is that they’ve been without their backup center and some other dude I’ve never heard of in my life.
Ya man, it’s like they think Duke has 2 more top 5 prospects.

Zion will be better than Lebron

They didn't have Zion but we going to act like they're aren't 2 other consensus top 5 guys on the Dook roster?

Woj had a podcast like 2-3 months ago talking about the pros and cons of...

1. HS players entering the G league and getting paid something like ~200k a year
2. Playing in Europe for a year
3. Going to NCAA to play for free for a top program

In conclusion, nothing beats #3. Especially if you're a top prospect that will be paid anyway.

There’s only 2 rounds in the nba draft. Only 15 guys are lottery picks.

That’s 15-60 players, out of thousands of college athletes.

Plenty of these guys eventually go on to living normal lives after college. They still deserve to be compensated because chances are, a majority of them won’t make it professionally. Overseas or here in the states.

Put the money in a trust fund, and give it to the players whenever they leave college or after their eligibility has expired. Also, give them money while they’re enrolled as students.

Pay them up front, and then pay them once they exit. These guys generate TOOOOO much money and media coverage not to be getting paid.

I don’t care about other collegiate sports. NCAA football, basketball, and baseball generates to much money for these “student” athletes to not be receiving anything in return
