If we didn't land stars this off-season's free agency market, I'd rather Knicks offering 1+1 deals to veterans who willing to play for less minute/taking bench role than offering long term contracts to mediocre young players. Build around our young core until a mega star joins us through free agency market in the future

Knicks need to be all over these teams trying to trade players taking up cap space with first rounders attached to them. Especially if the contracts are only for one year.

I’d rather have a young DLO and Julius Randle for a few years rather than taking Late 1sts for expiring contracts.
