Our taxes should be billed based on usage of government funds. The generic response is that your money goes to pay for fixing roads and firefighters, cops, etc. So send me a detailed bill. I didn't call the cops. $0 due. I didn't call the fire department. $0 due. The roads in my area haven't been touched this year. $0. You shot off 0 missiles and 0 bullets fired to defend us from a military attack. $0 due. Lemme know how much I owe the sanitation department and **** off.
