As great as Inoue is, I think 122 lbs might be his limit. He got dropped in his last 2 fights and while he showed great recovery skills, that shows that it won't get any easier for him moving up as he most likely gives up size, and perhaps power.
If that punch he took last night came from a seasoned 126lber, I don't know...
He'll have to move carefully at 126 imo.
All facts. But thats another great thing about him. Hes actually challenging himself and doesn't care. Getting dopped isnt changing his style or making him lose his confidence. More fighters should follow what hes doing.
Killers will get dropped because they're so offensive minded. Inoue is no different than fighters like crawford and boots. Boots will be another one where he will have to be more defensively responsible as he moves up in weight even though I'm not sure it's possible because he's a killer.
We saw devin Haney lose to garcia and become scared to take a punch from a shot jose ramirez. Haney might be mentally shot himself.
