mjhead23 I've been looking for these on/off the last couple years. DS prices are absurd. This pair came from a shop called Rotate in Richmond, VA. I found the listing on grailed and DM'd their instagram and bought for a good amount less than their asking price. I missed out on a couple of solid deals on worn pairs I saw on goat recently though so I finally said **** it and bought these.

Leather looks good on those. Can't remember why I slept on that re-release.

1978S It feels pretty synthetic but it's definitely soft and comfortable - much better quality overall than the hong kong retro. I don't think it was even possible to sleep on them, if I remember correctly it was an in-store exclusive to Kith Miami and they didn't release online at all. Then whatever pairs trickled out from employees afterward.

Finally got another pair

But the person flaked
Here’s the back story

maaaaaaaan i stopped messing with this white chick
had forgot i left my blue Puerto rican bobbito af1 highs at her house
still been tryna find another pair

went to work
was spending the night
but brought a fit for the next day cause we was hitting up benihana
wore my bobbitos there smashed slept overnight
but the next day i changed into some rocawear jean shorts
a rocawear polo
and the hares from the 7/16 cdp pack
and left them there when we went to benihana
we wasnt dating
but together
smashing and chillin and spending the night over
and somehow on the way back from benihana
we broke up(technically again we wasnt dating) and another dude was at her house
waiting for her
and they both walked me to the bus stop.......together
but thats a another story for another day

Despite preparing for Air Max Day 2020 with a Air Max 90 Medal Pack and launch of the Air Max 2090, among other projects, Nike has carved out time to celebrate Valentine’s Day and Easter. On the latter note, The Swoosh has already tapped the Air Max 97, which will soon be joined by the Air Force 1.
The 38-year-old silhouette has become a staple for Nike’s Spring-holiday celebration, given that the Air Force 1 Low has donned many a pastel outfit over the last decade. And though its latest Easter ensemble deviates from previous all-over color-blockings, the ’82 icon still captures the playfulness of pairs from yesteryear. Standard “White” construction sets the stage for “Barely Volt/Purple Nebula/Hyper Blue” accents that unite in iridescence at the toe box and heel. The violet hue also takes over “AF1” lace dubraes and complements the faint neon Swooshes on the profiles. Elsewhere, “Purple Nebula” also animates the tongue labels, though the color is simply a backdrop to the multi-colored cracked-egg graphic that’s become customary of Nike’s footwear for Easter.
While no stateside Nike.com release has yet been confirmed, pairs of the Air Force 1 Low “Easter 2020” are currently available at affiliate retailers in Japan.

So I head over to my parents place and searched my old room. Low and behold. 2003 pair of canvas af1.

size 9 Carolina canvas slight yellowing on the mid soles, adds a nice touch especially with how the vintage look is now in and how it’s manufactured
