Nike is going insane for the 40 year anniversary, I've got more pairs earmarked to cop over the next few months than total sneakers I've bought in several years smh

I feel the exact opposite.

The 25th anniversary in 2007 was absolutely insane - I don't think any anniversary since then can top that, in fact they've actually been quite subdued.

Nike FLOODED the market with 'Basic', 'Premium' and 'Supreme' joints - must've been in excess of 250+ colourways. This was in addition to the 'Nu Retro' Air Force 25 which had what seemed like 250+ colourways too.

I worked at a Nike store and DS joints were being RTVed from other retailers for a good 2-3 years after that disastrous release.

Same happened to mine and my wife’s pair, she uses some kind of pen, like a bleach pen type of idea but no bleach and it works crazy good will have to see if I can find out what it’s called

Good to know.. thought it was standard that denim and white Ups = NO Shiii.. I don't even like doing it on any white kicks with similar lining.. like Concords.

Last pair from this drop came today while I was rearranging the mancave before my trip for military obligations. I just realized I haven't worn any of the IDs I've made since the Pendletons in 2020.... I think I'm done for a while. Unless I can grab some AM1 IDs.
