OFFICIAL AIR FORCE ONE THREAD!!!!!

GR forces, especially white on whites are the absolute worst quality nike that exists IMO. It's been YEARS since i saw someone wearing a pair of all whites that looked fresh. The minute that shoe hits the street the toebox buckles up into a morphed, deformed looking thing. You know the quality is bad when this months ID option is "different types of leathers" in JUST white.

Seriously fam, do you need constant reassurance for everything you do in life?

You have repeatedly asked for opinions on these notoriously low quality White/White GRs, stated reasons as to why they are causing you discomfort and/or unhappiness and have received assurances from everyone that you should have no problem returning them back.

Why are you making this a life/death issue?

Yeah, it's been a wrap on quality for Forces since about '02. Here and there you can find some well made pairs until maybe about '04, but the general level was bunk. And, white/whites are the absolute worst. They were basically made into a disposable shoe.

For people looking for whites to wear regularly, I'd say to hunt for '01 pairs and earlier - they can be found. The '03(?) pair with the gum sole is passable, material-wise, though the shape isn't great. Worst-case scenario, make a premium ID.

Cork ID's came in today thought is share with you all how they came out. Much better in person the white is a little creamier then I thought it would be, it's actually quite nice though. The quality is definitely on point. Shout out to the dude who designed these and inspired me to go ahead and make these. My first id's... Thanks for looking!

Had those in hand at my local Jimmy Jazz over the weekend. They look better in person IMO, The blue parts are some sort of canvas like material and the rest is leather.

Figured this thread would be the best place to ask, but how is the quality on the Seersucker AF1's? More so, the black pair.

I was thinking about going by some local shops today to check them out, but if they don't have them I planned on ordering them online. Thanks in advance fellas, this would be the first pair of Force's I bought in years if I do get 'em.

I'm no AF expert, but they feel really plastic-y and cheap IMO.  To the point where I wouldn't buy it on a heavy discount.

If you can't find any locally...go to a Payless Shoesource or shoe section at a Walmart/Kmart.

Look for the AF1 knock offs (will probably be only white/white or black/black).

The seersucker pack quality is 2X less than that IMO.

You don't have to be an expert my dude. You're just stating the truth and calling it as it is.

I was about to say here comes the "What are you talking about dude, the quality is fine" posts but I forgot I'm in the AF1 thread  :pimp:

2X less than knock off quality?

yeah, ok.

Trying way too hard.
There's no trying.

Guy asked for input on the quality and I provided my opinion which I stick by.

Maybe "Knock Off" wasn't the right choice of word to describe it.  I meant the Payless/Walmart/KMart look alike versions of the AF1.

Like so:

All the price points for these AF1 Look-A-Likes are in the $10-$30.

And you got Nike trying to charge $100 for their version which is just about or even less quality wise?

Seersucker pack is one of the nicer AF1s editions put out in the last year, I just would have much rather them be labeled "premium" and pay an extra $40 just because they look so good. But of course the trashy pleather kills the shoe... may cop later if I can stack enough discounts though
