I love my AF1s to be simplistic and I was really feeling the translucent gum sole.

I mean it makes sense..turning around production on a shoe (that's already highly produced) when you're just adding a pressed logo shouldn't be that difficult..

For reference, the leather on the John Elliott's just feel a tad softer on the mudguard areas, bro.
Otherwise, they seem pretty nice. It doesn't have the cheap plastic-like feel of some other Forces like the Shibuyas.

Has anyone received their Air Force 1 Nike By You customs yet with the ripple leather? Mine are due for delivery in the next couple days (even though I ordered the snakeskin pair 3 weeks earlier, I’ve got a delayed email for Nike on those). I’m interested to see what the quality is actually like

Received my rippled leather pair, made in Vietnam for those interested.
The leather is ok, has a little shine to it. Probably should have gone with a darker sole. Will probably still keep them though.

Just arrived. Love em.
I got the email about this pair having quality issues. Not sure what they saw specifically but not complaining that I’ll have another one on the way. Maybe I’ll get better suede?
