There was the retro QS version. Leather was real good & double nike check. I have them on with the black/white flannel.
There was a COTM version of this right? Or like a better leather version?

It's just the normal AF1 with white accents. It's still wearable, but would prefer one that wouldn't crease as much.The leather on those look horrible.
I still have some custom A Herd of Bison AF1s I've worn maybe 5 times in decent shape, but wear is definitely showing.

We definitely pay taxes on kicks and clothes here. It’s been low af though.

*Only on items that are $175 or more, and the amount of tax is tiny. So tiny that we don't even count it.
For example, if you buy a $200 pair of sneakers, you only pay about $1.56 in tax.
This was a recent change made not too long ago. Before this it was zero tax on clothing/sneakers.

Just picked up my pair in store on H street. A few other dudes there buying, but nothing crazy. I suspect these will be easy to get.
They looked a bit small so I tried on the left shoe at my car, thinking about how crazy it is that they just didn’t size me in the store like for every other sneaker I’ve bought in a store in the last 45 years or so.
Anyways, fit seems to be about the same as any other AF1, maybe a hair tighter. Not as comfy as the original AMM AF1s that I wore for the occasion, but those have a lot more wears on ‘em.
I hope everyone who wants one gets a pair. They are nice, but nothing like their first pair in terms of material and design.
