U not wrong but there was ample time between each of the retros you mentioned. The Unc-linens were like an 07 release, the dunk high a 2013, and the various ID options were never 100% on the money.Haven't they and we already? We had the linen/blue pair way back when. There were linen dunks in 2013ish. Then all of us who have made linen adjacent AF1s. I'm not mad at it since I got mines. Rocking today actually
ID in general is still fairly niche even though people know the program exist.
In the last year we will have gotten 3 linen or linen variants straight from Nike.
Imo Nike dropped the ball by dropping the official version first. I think the canvas joints would have had a lot more hype if we didn't have access to last years retro for reasonable prices (often under retail). Same can be said for the 2.0 which at least looks wise doesn't seem to be as well crafted.
