Lol i was going through old Facebook photos trying to figure it out. The clue that helped me out was that I found the pendant it came with which had the 25th Anniversary markings on it. Which proved that they definitely came out in 2007. Then did some google searching with different keywords and finally found it.
Another pair that I used to own back in the day that I wish they would release again.

I had my Premium Denim AF1's customised by Mat Cole aka @foesone. I had them bleached and painted. I cannot wait to be wearing them this summer

I gotta say the kith and 24 are really really good leather. And I hate to say it but the canvas when in hand really holds its own to the leather pair

He's not some random guy.And he doesn't have to have had a hand in the particular project.
He's with Nike and can easily get the info/ask his peers.What do you think these laces are based on then?

I don’t know what they’re based on also don’t care just the fact they look like **** and can you really say the look like Kobe’s pajama pants? If they did every other site would’ve picked up on it as well as Kobe Stan’s.So if you knew who he was.....why'd you call him an "Internet people?"

They def don't look like the same plaid on Kobe's PJ's. However, we've seen Nike butcher many a thing.
BUT....those laces are extremely random for that pair, and if someone who works at Nike says that's what they are in reference to.....then I'm going to lean towards believing them.
