It's not an opinion. The colorway and style code is confirmed, but the color blocking shown in that photo is 100% a mockup. Light orewood brown and pink foam are also not the "linen" colors.

I get both points. And honestly Chexx I initially had the same reaction like 'damn y'all really stepping on the linens with all these linen derivatives/ variants,' but we know that's how nike been doing **** for a long time now so no real surprise.

I also get your point vinnuendo , it's just a mockup and although it resembles the linen it technically isn't the same colorway even if the mock up makes them look very similar. We have to hold our opinions until we see a finished product.


I don't think linen SB is needed for what it's worth. It's already a good color way on a good shoe. We don't need 1000 variations of that colorway to make it hot. If anything over doing the colorway takes away from the uniqueness it once had.

It's gonna be really hard to pass on some of these grails to the next generation if nike doesn't pay them the proper respect they deserve.

I'm all for retroing some of these classics that are otherwise impossible to get (like the Wu Tangs) but that doesn't mean we want 15 variations of that. If they drop 15 more Wu Tang inspired pairs with insignias etc it will take away some of that specialness that is associated with the OG pair.

I forgot about the movie but you're right these do make sense when you take that into consideration.

I'm more surprised they changed the color blocking. I can't decide which one is better.
